Introducing Atembá Art & Jewelry from Baja California, Mexico

Atembá means earth in the language of the Guaicuras, the ancient people of the Baja California peninsula of México.
Atembá is a small woman owned cottage industry in La Paz, California that sustainably harvests its materials from the Sea of Cortes.

Using high quality Mexican silver, they hand mold each piece of jewelry with care. Their elegant and original product is made with natural stones that through erosion and movement have arrived at the ocean’s edge & are naturally polished by the sea through time.

The women of
Atembá
have over 15 years of experience creating hand-made jewelry and art using a wide variety of materials and have been working with natural sea stones since 2004.
